At Seven Baskets Clothing, we believe in transparency and respect for your personal data. You have the right to request the deletion of personal information we hold about you. This page explains what we hold, what can be deleted, and how to submit your request.
✦What Data We Hold About You
Account & Order Information
If you have placed an order or created an account with us, we hold your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order history. This information is used to fulfil your orders and provide customer support.
Marketing Data
If you subscribed to our newsletter or opted in to marketing, we hold your email address and communication preferences in our email marketing platform.
Facebook / Meta Data
If you connected your Facebook account to our website or interacted with our Facebook or Instagram pages, Meta Platforms, Inc. may have shared limited profile data with us (such as your name and email address). If you wish to delete data related to your Facebook or Instagram interaction with Seven Baskets, you can submit a request here or directly through Facebook's settings under Settings & Privacy → Your Facebook Information → Off-Facebook Activity.
Browsing & Analytics Data
We collect anonymised browsing data via cookies and analytics tools. This data is not personally identifiable and is not linked to your name or email address. It is used solely to improve our website and is automatically purged on a rolling basis.
✦What Can Be Deleted
What We Can Delete
Upon a verified request, we will delete: your account and profile information, email address from our marketing lists, and any personal data not subject to a legal retention obligation.
What We Must Retain
Certain data must be retained for legal and accounting compliance. Order transaction records (including your name and address as they appeared on an order) may be retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and financial reporting obligations. This data will not be used for marketing purposes and will be securely deleted once the legal retention period expires.
✦How to Submit a Deletion Request
Email Request
Send an email to hello@svnbaskets.com.au with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please include:
- ✦Your full name
- ✦The email address associated with your account or order
- ✦Any order numbers you are aware of (optional)
- ✦Whether the request is for full deletion or specific data (e.g. marketing only)
Verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. We will only accept requests from the account holder or an authorised representative.
Processing Time
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will send a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
✦Facebook & Instagram Specific Requests
If you used Facebook Login or interacted with Seven Baskets via Facebook or Instagram and want us to delete the data shared through that interaction:
- 1Email us at hello@svnbaskets.com.au with the subject "Facebook Data Deletion Request"
- 2Include the name and email address associated with your Facebook account
- 3We will identify and delete any data received through the Facebook platform within 30 days and confirm deletion via email
You can also manage and clear your Off-Facebook Activity directly through Facebook Settings → Your Facebook Information → Off-Facebook Activity → Clear History.
